Medjool, Deglet Noor, Barhi and Zahidi dates, Grade A through C, for retail packs and bulk food manufacturing.
Medjool is the large, soft, caramel-toned date most retail buyers recognise; Deglet Noor is firmer and less sweet, the standard variety for baking and processing where you don't want the fruit dominating a recipe. Barhi and Zahidi sit between the two and are common in the Middle Eastern and South Asian retail markets specifically.
Grade A is sorted for size and appearance for direct retail sale; Grade B and C are priced for buyers pitting, chopping or pureeing the fruit rather than selling it whole.
Grades available
- Grade A
- These are the highest quality dates, usually large in size, with a uniform color and texture, and free from any defects.
- Grade B
- These dates may have slight defects like blemishes, marks or uneven coloring, but are still of good quality and suitable for consumption.
- Grade C
- These dates are lower in quality than the above two grades and may have some defects like soft spots or discoloration.

- Medjool
- These are large, sweet and juicy dates, often considered the king of dates due to their exceptional flavor and texture.
- Deglet Noor
- These dates are smaller in size and have a firm, slightly dry texture. They have a delicate, caramel-like flavor and are often used in baking or as a snack.
- Barhi
- These dates are round and soft with a honey-like flavor and a slight crunch.
- Zahidi
- These are small, sweet and semi-dry dates with a nutty flavor.
