Brazil nuts graded Fancy through B, sourced across Para, Bolivian, Peruvian, Colombian and Venezuelan origin lines.
Brazil nut origin matters more than most buyers expect — Para, Bolivian, Peruvian, Colombian and Venezuelan lots differ noticeably in kernel size and oil content, and we carry all five so you're not locked into whichever showed up at port. Fancy grade is reserved for whole, unbroken kernels; Standard and B grades work for processors who are roasting, chopping or using the nuts as an ingredient rather than selling them whole.
Because Brazil nuts are wild-harvested rather than plantation-grown, lot-to-lot consistency is something we check for specifically before a shipment is confirmed — ask your trade desk contact what's currently graded and ready.

- Fancy
- The highest grade of Brazil nuts, with a uniform size and color, and no defects.
- Choice
- The second-highest grade of Brazil nuts, with a slightly less uniform size and color than fancy, and a few minor defects.
- Standard
- The third-highest grade of Brazil nuts, with a darker color and more defects than choice.
- B
- A lower grade of Brazil nuts that are still suitable for use in baking and cooking.
Varieties available
- Para
- The most common variety of Brazil nuts, named after the Para state in Brazil, with a large size and a sweet flavor.
- Bolivian
- A smaller variety of Brazil nuts that are grown in Bolivia, with a slightly bitter taste and a thinner shell.
- Peruvian
- A variety of Brazil nuts that are grown in Peru, with a sweeter and nuttier flavor than other varieties.
- Colombian
- A variety of Brazil nuts that are grown in Colombia, with a smaller size and a milder taste.
- Venezuelan
- A variety of Brazil nuts that are grown in Venezuela, with a more elongated shape and a slightly sweeter taste than other varieties.
